  • The Summer Universiade is an international university sports and cultural event that is staged every two years in a different city.
  • The games draw over 8000 student athletes from 150 countries to compete, making it one of the largest multi sport events in the world, second only to the Olympics.
  • GHG tendered and won the rights to cater the Athletes Village and 21 venues throughout the games.
  • This required the construction of a 3000 seat dining hall and installation of a commercial kitchen including a separate Halal kitchen.
  • Scaled up to cater over 25,000 meals per day to coaches and athletes.
